We inspected seven roof drains, consisting of 4-inch and 3-inch cast iron pipes, with lengths ranging from 30 to 50 feet. We utilized a sewer camera to thoroughly examine three of the seven drains. To proceed accurately, Glen needs to provide the prints to verify the exact lengths and pipe diameters. This information is crucial for ensuring precise measurements and effective maintenance. Televised the sewer from the 3” outside cleanout left of the garage. The sewer is PVC to the septic tank, then copper inside the garage and house. Found a split in the bottom of the pipe just after the first turn in the garage, causing water leakage and potential blockages. Will provide a quote for opening the garage floor and lining the sewer.
4/15/24: A 4’ hole was dug in back yard to expose the existing clay sewer. A section was cut out and a 6” pvc cleanout was installed. Work was approved by the village and the hole was backfilled. Trenchless will be returning to line the sewer. 4/19/24: cleaned and measured sewer line from outside cleanout in backyard. Performed post cleaning inspection video. Both downstream to city main and upstream past stack.
