Job Checkin

Arrived on site and performed a whole-home electrical safety inspection, walking the property and inspecting the entire electrical system. Upon opening the main electrical panel, it was observed that the home is equipped with a 100-amp main breaker panel, which is undersized and should be upgraded to 200 amps. The panel currently contains five 240-volt two-pole breakers, is fully maxed out with single-pole breakers, and has no capacity for additional circuits. Multiple code violations were identified within the panel, including an oversized AC breaker and feeder conductors that appear to be connected using a Polaris tap that may not be service-rated. A bare copper conductor is being used as a neutral, which should instead be properly sheathed and identified with white insulation or white tape, creating a safety concern. It was also noted that multiple neutrals and grounds are terminated under the same lug on the neutral bar, which is not permitted and must be corrected. No ground rod
