Performed a minor diagnostic, which included accessing the attic, reworking the driver connections, and verifying proper operation of the existing under-cabinet fluorescent lighting. Advised the customer that the current fluorescent fixtures generate excessive heat and recommended upgrading to LED strip lighting for improved efficiency, longevity, and safety. Completed a safety evaluation throughout the home. The customer stated that he previously replaced the main panel and meter base and completed a whole-home device upgrade with new white tamper-resistant outlets and switches. Some AFCI protection is currently installed in the panel. Noted that the home does not have any smoke detectors installed.
