Arrived on the job site. The customer requested a detailed electrical inspection, including checking all outlets, switches, the main panel, the sub-panel in the garage, and all attic connections. During the inspection, I noticed multiple outlets that were not properly wrapped around the screws, which could lead to loose connections, arcing, or potential outlet damage. These outlets need to be properly tightened and rewired. I also found one or two outlets with paint inside the prong slots—more than typical—which can interfere with electrical contact and should be replaced to ensure safe operation. All other systems inspected, including smoke detectors, the electrical panels, grounding system, GFCI and AFCI protection, are in good condition. The home is also equipped with a builder-grade surge protector rated for up to 22,000 amps.
