Today, Kevin was assigned to take care of Jason and Julia’s residence! Kevin performed a troubleshoot on upstairs lighting circuit. Upon conducting he troubleshoot there were some concerning things brought to his attention such as knicks in the wires, a wire that was untraceable having improper readings, as well as wires damaged from being shoved into junction boxes. Also upon solving issues by applying insulation tape, there was also an open neutral reading on another plug on a completely different circuit. Kevin informed the Mihail family and recommended a whole home redevice for four reasons: -To be able to apply liquid tape and or insulation tape to knicks to stop any potential future damages to wires. -To be able to replace builder grade devices. -To properly terminate wires. -And to cover the homes devices for 5 years to prevent future issues.
