Arrived onsite to potential warranty of the furnace circuit as it trips the breaker after ten minutes. Found that the Furnace has a 60 amp breaker but the original wiring in the home is not rated to handle 60 amps as it is number 8 aluminum. We replaced the electrical panel and installed a 30 amp breaker as per code that is the max allowable ampacity for the wiring. To correct the issue a new dedicated line will need to go from the electrical panel to the central unit ran in #6 copper which is rated for the 60 amp breaker. Quotes are good for thirty days
