Arrived on job site tenant mentioned that the GFCI would trip randomly by cell but nothing plugged in and has been doing that for the last two weeks about three times a week. Let the homeowner know that usually when a GFCI does that it’s when the GFCI is at the end of its life. Ended up also giving her a solution to do a troubleshoot to look at the entire circuit or to replace the GFCI alone. The customer only wanted to replace a GFCI as of right now I did let her know that if the GFCI trips again and is having the same problem that when we come back out, we would need to have to charge a troubleshoot to see the cause of the problem. Also left other solutions on adding AI breakers in the panel and also a surge protection. Customer wants some time to think about the quote and it’s good for 30 days. Customer is 100% happy and satisfied with today’s visit.
