Job Site Report: Arrived on site. The customer requested installation of an electric vehicle (EV) charger inside the garage. Will return on Wednesday, October 15 to complete the work. Scope of Work: • Install a pass-through panel near the existing 200-amp disconnect. • Run EMT conduit inside the garage to feed a Tesla hardwired car charger. • Pull a permit for the new pass-through panel installation. • Confirmed that the disconnect uses a four-wire system connected to the main panel, with grounds and neutrals separated. The system includes a #4 ground wire and a #4 cold-water bond leading to the disconnect. • Install a customer-supplied whole-home surge protector on the pass-through panel. Additional Notes: Inspected smoke detectors with the customer. The home has hardwired smoke detectors in every bedroom and hallway, and they are interconnected.
