Completed AC tune up for Bosch Inverter 3 Ton 20SEER 20x20x1 and 12x12x1 filters in good condition. Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected condition of indoor and outdoor coils Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Recommend surge protectors for indoor equipment circuits. Intermatic and X13 Checked drain and EZ trap drain terminate behind outdoor equipment (runs with lineset) Monitored refrigerant pressures and diagnostics: 116/145 8°Subcooling. System is operating well at this time. Ultimately determined I could not use an Intermatic surge protector based on wire sizing at line side of breaker. Offered another style of Ecm surge protector that will serve the same purpose. Homeowner agreed to install (2) ECM style surge protectors. 1 for blower motor and 1 for the main circuit at breaker.
