Performed Quality Assurance Inspection on system. Spoke with contractor about issue with outdoor unit leveling. Unit was level, but due to the ground behind the building slopping dramatically their is a considerable amount of run-off present. Leveled the outdoor unit and dug further down into the ground. Laid more stone down and built up stone around outdoor unit pad. Also built a makeshift runoff ditch in an attempt to divert the water flow past the outdoor unit. Spoke with contractor about filling in the entire ground behind the building, and/or creating a more natural run-off. While onsite attempted to connect Honeywell Wifi Controller to indoor unit. The system was not responding to the controller. Moved controller to multiple locations to ensure it had a clear path to the unit. Called Resideo Tech Support and they said this Indoor Unit is not compatible with the Controller. Reconnected Daikin Remote control to unit and tested. Will follow up with John Borden about other options. N
