Found boiler off but piping hot, like boiler just recently shut down. Found water level low and boiler auto feeder not coming on. There was a note on front of boiler that low water cutoff was recently replaced in January of this year. Found low water cutoff wired incorrectly and not sending voltage to auto feeder to refill boiler. Rewired control and tested to ensure unit shut off and fed water to the boiler when calling. Checked radiators to see which ones were working and which ones were not, there were 2 that were not getting hot but tenants were not complaining about this as they get too hot in the apartments at times. Recommend installing Ecobee thermostat and running new wire to boiler and installing sensors in all 6 apartments for temperature averaging. Also recommend new steam pressure gauge as it is not reasding accurately and fixing gas line as it goes through boiler jacket in flex.
