Service call to startup the Gas Fired Boiler. Checked Wiring on the Boiler and at the Thermostat. Removed unneeded wires at the Thermostat terminals. Tested Gas Piping at the Boiler using leak Detector. Checked all valves to insure they were open. Started Boiler up and found only a few of the Baseboards on the First Floor were Heating. Purged the Baseboard loops and restarted Boiler. The Upstairs was not heating. Isolated the Upstairs Loops and Purged of Air. Turned Boiler back on and tested. Performed Combustion Test on Boiler to insure it was burning properly. Checked all Baseboards which were now heating. Monitored Boiler to insure it was shutting down at 180 Degrees and restarting. System is operating to standards at this time. Recommend replacement of the Hot Water Heater. Current Water Heater is 20 Years old. Average life of Water Heaters is 10-12 Years.
