Performed QA on Bosch Heat Pump/Air Handler installation. Homeowner had concerns about the amount of time the Electric Heat had been running when he looked at his usage on the Ecobee App. Run times looked normal for the outdoor temperature and the temperature Setpoint versus the actual temperature. Explained to him that it is better to have the heat pump maintain temperature rather than setting the temperature back 3 + Degrees which will cause the Auxiliary Heat to run. Went through settings on Thermostat and adjusted the Auxiliary Heat Setpoint from Automatic to 2 degrees from differential. Reviewed programming and settings on system with the homeowner. Tested system with Emergency Heat and tested Heat Pump. Tested the humidifier which is controlled by the thermostat. Completed checklist form in system.
