Replace the pressure switch and turn the breaker on pump test water is back on job is complete
Existing 13 year old 50 gallon electric water heater was leaking at the 90 degree elbow located on the cold side of the heater. This elbow developed a pin hole leak over time because the water in the home is very acidic. Highly recommend we return to perform a whole house re-pipe of this becomes a constant issue in the home. Re- piped existing 13 year old electric water heater, all water lines are holding as they should at this time with no issues. Verns plumbing typically has a standard 1 year warranty on parts/labor, but we will NOT warranty this due to the condition of the existing piping in the home. Emailed homeowner copy of today’s invoice and estimates.
Arrived at the location and spoke to the owner and she explained everything to me and she flush the toilet and I was down stairs in the basement to see where the leak was going and the pipe started to make noise and gagging so I took the toilet and run water from the hand sink and water started to raise up and I snake it with the k50 snake machine and put 6 cable from the flange out to the septic tank and that is about 42 ft and run water to see any back up and also flush the toilet couple of time while running water and line is open and clean show everything to the owner job is complete
Emailed estimates to repair sewer. Work includes crawlspace entrance from the inside and partial hand digging to uncover section of cast iron sewer. Must break and repair concrete foundation wall to remove old cast-iron piping and install new 3 to 4 inch PVC piping. Camera inspection included in estimate at no additional cost. Homeowners have low pressure on cold side of kitchen faucet and I took a picture of German brand name and part number so they can obtain cartridge and I may return and perform repair if approved. Home had submersible well pump conversion. *** no longer on jet pump.** No charge for today’s estimate. **
