Looked around a gas stove, top for any signs of issues with the gas line or gas piping Could not directly locate any leaks or issues with the gas line or valve itself, we currently recommend that the customer calls an appliance technician to have the stove looked at or possibly replace it Technician believes the pilot light assembly in the stove, was not lighting and allowed the chamber to fill with gas before catching, causing a small explosion in the oven Customer also had questions about possibly adding a solenoid device to the gas heater installed in the living room, I’d like the solenoid device hooked to a thermostat that will open and close the valve independently to the unit Customer also had questions about future irrigation. You’d like to have installed told them when the time comes and I’d like to have the system installed we can provide pricing.

Excavation and backfill for the replacement of existing pitless adapter for well pump. This will involve hand digging to expose pitless adapter, pulling of well pump for removal of pitless adapter and installation of new. Testing new and backfilling to rough grade only. Seed and straw disturbed area. Installation of new well cap. - technician arrived, hand dug to expose piping to well casing. Found pitless adapter cracked. Pulled well pump roughly 20 feet out of casing, removed old pitless adapter and installed new. Connected new pitless adapter to existing water line with coupling and short piece of new 1 inch black poly. Installed new compression well cap as well since existing was no longer sealing around casing. Turned water on and tested. At first, house had great water pressure. It dwindled down to a trickle. Went to well tank in basement and found a 2x10 canister filter on the INLET side of well tank. This is not the recommended spot for installation of a sediment filter. Filte

Technician arrived and found water coming out of well casing. Once well cap was removed, water was pinpointed to coming out of pvc pipe / conduit for well pump wire. This is a possible cause of the connection to the pit less adapter or the pitless adapter failing. Water is taking path of least resistance. Office will reach out and schedule a time for Wednesday October 9th. Estimate is for replacement of pitless adapter and new 6 inch well cap. *** Homeowners cat is very friendly and climbed onto car and jumped inside driver seat. Any technician that comes out to this location needs to double check in and around vehicle and keep doors closed when not at truck.

Homeowner had concerns about about the upstairs 3” sewer line because Nathan said the line is starting to develop a belly. (I have no recording of this) really don’t want the homeowner to pay us for another diagnosis when he just did one 3 months ago, told him to just wait it out and if this issues occurs again in the near future (2 years) we will return to evaluate the situation and come up with a permanent solution. As of now the line is working as it should with issues. Will return on 06/12/2024 to install yard hydrant, valve box and shutoff off valve right beside the 6” well casing. Will tee off of the existing 1” poly line for the new hydrant. Sent copy of todays invoice to homeowners email

Found the pump alarm box was tripping the breaker for the septic tank ran the pump in the basement and allowed to cycle a few times to listen for water backups within the drain line Pump cycled at should 4 times and could not hear any signs of a backup Attempted to look at septic however planter box with wet dirt was too heavy for technician to move single handedly and would require additional hands to remove, spoke with customer about the alarm box and how it functions, this alarm means the septic tank is either full of water or the alarm float is not properly functioning However without being able to get into the septic we are unable to properly diagnose the issue at the time. Told customer should any backups happen to call and we could bring additional hands to remove planter box and septic lid. Will reach out with a return date in the meantime to diagnose

Install customer supplied preside tank. Install will include new tank tee, pressure switch, gauge, boiler drain and main water shutoff valve. When I initially fired the system back up the breaker kept tripping because the ground wire had 240 volts going to it for some reason. Don’t ask me how I know. Had to separate the two power lines to correct this issue. System is now working as it should with no issues. Applied 10% teachers discount to the invoice. Existing 20 gallon pressure tank has a leak in the bladder which causing pressure issues throughout the home. Air in the tank was 0 psi. Existing well pump is drawing 2.7 amps. This amp draw is a little low but the pump seems to be working just fine at this time. Homeowners purchased a 20 gallon pressure with no tank tee, I highly recommend they go back out and purchase a 35-45 gallon pressure since they have a barn with yard hydrants. A bigger pressure tank will give a longer range of water pressure and make the existing well pump happier because the pump won’t run as much. Also recommended theymcontact mermaid water to service the existing kinetico water softener. These units should be serviced once a year. Homeowners is going to vamac plumbing supply tonight to purchase a 35 gallon pressure tank and 1” tank tee kit. Will return tomorrow morning to complete proposed work. Put the correct air pressure back into the tank so they would have better water pressure for the time being. Sen
