Service call that the AC for the Front Office was not working. Upon arrival, found the Evaporator Coil and Compressor Area frozen. Shut system off and ran the blower Fan to defrost the coil. After the Coil was defrosted put System in operation. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. Suction Pressure was very low and the Head Pressure was very high. The Low Suction Pressure is causing the Evaporator Coil to freeze. The Fixed Metering devices that are within the coil are restricted. After the System was running the Areas where the Metering devices are located began freezing. This is indicating that Refrigerant is not flowing properly. The high Head Pressure was noted on last visit when the compressor had tripped the breaker due to running in high Amp readings. While the Coil is Restricted, damage may have occurred to the compressor as well. The system will continue to freeze up and continue to be an issue.
