Performed QA on Amana Gas Furnace/AC system. Homeowner was not happy with several issues from the install: Outdoor unit not even to the house, holes in return trunk, around the humidistat control the metal was messy, and the Auxiliary Pan was not sealed in the corners. Reviewed with homeowner and corrected all issues. Tested system in Heating and Cooling Mode. Tested all safeties and tested humidifier. Completed checklist form in system. Reviewed installation with homeowner and walked through with him all the corrections that I made. This install Failed the QA (see my notes from the QA Checklist Form below): Outdoor unit was level but was not even to the house. Dug out around pad and was able to move unit to even it. Removed the humidistat control and used metal tape to seal around the hole. Sealed all holes in the return trunk. Sealed the corners of the auxiliary drain pan and used metal tape around the outside.
