Had previously been onsite due to the AC not operating. Found the Compressor had failed and started leaking from the Winding Terminals. This caused the Compressor to be damaged electrically and cause failure. Removal of the old Compressor and installation of a new Compressor with Wiring Harness. Due to system being opened to atmosphere, the Filter Drier will need to be replaced as well. Braze Compressor and Filter Drier into the Outdoor Unit with Nitrogen sweeping the system. Pressure test system to ensure it is holding pressure. Perform Triple Evacuation on System. Charge system with 410-A Refrigerant. When the Compressor failed this caused damage to the Wiring at the Outdoor Disconnect/Breaker. Install a new Non-Fused Disconnect with Whip to the Outdoor Unit. Test operation of system. Please note that the Outdoor Unit could not be fully tested and additional repairs may be needed if further damage or component failure occurred that could not be tested at time of previous service.
