Performed quality assurance inspection on recently installed Daikin mini split heat pump system. Checked temperature split at indoor head. Checked over electrical wiring. Found extra wire loop in garage area. Cut off extra wiring and re- wired at outdoor unit. Also caulked around penetration at garage wall again after shortening power wire. Homeowner also was concerned with how quiet fan can get at indoor head. Checked fan settings at it was running as low as it could. Mini split system is also larger than what was previously installed which is also cooling better than the old system did. System is working fine at time of quality assurance check.
