Service call that the Second Floor System was not Cooling properly. Upon arrival, spoke with Homeowner about issue. Thermostat was set to 55 Degrees and the Air Temperature on the Second Floor was at 83 Degrees. Checked Air Filter on system and measured temperature splits. System was reading the same temperature on Supply and Return Air Temperatures. After measuring refrigerant levels, found system to be low on Refrigerant Charge. Added 2lbs of R-22 Refrigerant to system, charging by Superheat. After adding Refrigerant to the proper levels temperature split between Supply and Return Air had increased to 16-17 Degrees. Also found Outdoor Coil was dirty. Washed Outdoor Coil with Water. If system is loosing Refrigerant, that is indicating that their is a leak present. We will continue to monitor the Refrigerant levels on future Tune Ups to asses how quickly the system is loosing Charge. Thank You for becoming part of our Service Membership Family!
