Performed Precision AC Tune Up on the First Floor and Second Floor System. Replaced the Air Filter on the Second Floor System. Cleaned EZ Traps on both Systems and Condensation Pump. Inspected Electrical Components on Indoor and Outdoor Units. Measured Refrigerant Charge on both Systems. The First Floor System Refrigerant Levels were slightly off. Superheat Levels were higher at 26 Degrees and the Indoor Coil Temperature was around 33-34 Degrees. This indicates that the system is low on Refrigerant. Also found the Compressor is drawing high Amp readings. It is still within its rating of 19.7 Amps but is higher than normal at 17.1 Amps. This is an indication that the system is not running efficiently and the Compressor is worker harder to operate. While System is running and cooling, due to the Refrigerant levels being lower and the higher Amp readings of the Compressor, it would be recommended to begin planning for replacement of the First Floor System.
