Performed Precision Heat Tune Up on Heat Pump System. Checked 22x22x1 Air Filter. Filter was clean and in good Condition. Inspected Electrical Components on the Indoor and Outdoor Units. Found Single Pole Capacitor on Outdoor Unit is pitted and has excessive ash around the Pads. Due to the Condition of the Contactor, recommendation would be to replace Contactor. Tested Operation of system with Auxilary Heat and with the Heat Pump. Measured Refrigerant levels of system. Forced system into Defrost to ensure it was switching over properly. Homeowner informed me that they are getting notifications from PECO about high energy consumption. Air Handler is from 1989 and the Outdoor Unit is from 1999. The Air Handler and the Outdoor Unit are different Manufacturers as well. The system is responding and operating as it should. However, due to the age, it is operating very ineffienctly which correlates to increased Energy Consumption. The system is running, but is working harder and longer to d
