Went over control wiring inside the furnace. Traced out low voltage wiring at relay inside the furnace. Found that wiring from inside the furnace sends a signal out to another relay which brings on the kitchen exahaust hood. After talking to David explained to him that when the thermostat call fo cooling the board energizes th “g†terminal and gives power to the kitchen vent hood motor. Recommend to him just to disconnect this all together . Separated the vent hood from the hvac by disconnecting 2 wires to the second relay up in the joist bay. Now the vent hood operates independently from the hvac. The way this was wired is from after we completed the install.
