Performed Quality Assurance inspection on a newly installed gas furnace and air conditioning system. First checked noise customer was hearing. Was a loud vibration noise. Found noise coming from bottom of furnace on left side where the bottom connects to the furnace side panel. Secured and sealed around this area. No more noise. Checked over entire system. Wiring secure and proper. Penetrations sealed. System looked good. Did find there is no filter in the system. Not sure if old system had filter in the furnace but we should have installed a rack. Need to return to install a 16x25x1 filter rack. Also replace outdoor disconnect with new disconnect that is the larger size, wire in and seal around disconnect. Will review these findings with installers on job. Spoke with customer regarding coming back to make corrections. Will call them this afternoon to schedule. Otherwise system working great at time of QA. Inside temp split - 52/71
