Arrived at customers home and spoke to them about what they were experiencing. Proceeded to the thermostat and set for cooling. Heard blower come on. Proceeded to the outdoor unit and not coming on. Opened up outdoor unit electrical panel and pushed in contractor. Unit started. Checked voltage and proper line voltage. Checked wire nut connections and looked ok. Went back down to basement and opened up furnace and checked low voltage wiring. Connections good and proper. Checked low voltage readings with meter and getting 24v to outdoor unit. Checked outside at outdoor unit and losing 24v. Proceeded to check low voltage wiring from furnace to outdoor unit and found a break in wiring. Repaired broken wiring. Tested system again in cooling. Indoor and outdoor unit now running. Ran system for 15 minutes and checked pressures and temps. Getting inside split of 53/72. Pressures are 124/273. Superheat of 9 and sub-cool of 7.8. System running good in cooling. Tested heating. Getting temp split
