Service Call that the Second Floor System was not Cooling. Upon arrival found system turned off and Indoor temperature on the Second Floor was at 82 Degrees. Put system in cooling to test operation. Measured temperature split between Supply and Return Air at 10 Degrees. After testing refrigerant levels, found system had very High Superheat and Low Subcooling numbers indicating that it was low on Refrigerant. Added 3 lbs of R-22 Refrigerant to system, charging by Superheat. Replaced both Air Filters on the system. Temperature split increased to 18 Degrees after the Refrigerant had been added, and the Indoor Temperature on the Second Floor lowered to 77 Degrees. Checked the Temperature Splits on the First Floor System which was reading at 20 Degrees. Replaced the Air Filter for the First Floor System, provided by Homeowner. System is 13 Years old and is a baseline quality system. Due to the age, and condition of system loosing Refrigerant, it is recommended to begin planning for replac
