Service call that the AC was not working. Was informed that they experienced lightning and a partial power outage. Arrived onsite and found the Thermostat set to 70 Degrees and the Indoor Temperature was at 74. Proceeded to the Attic Air Handler to troubleshoot. The Fuse on the Air Handler has blown. Tested system with a resettable Fuse and determined that the Wet Switch Safety Device had shorted internally and this was causing the Fuse to blow. Installed a new Wet Switch Safety Device and a new Fuse for the Air Handler. Put system back in operation and tested. Tested Voltages and Amp Readings on System. Measured Refrigerant Charge and Inspected Wiring. System is operating to standards. No Charge for the replacement of the Fuse.
