Installed new Bradford white 50 gallon natural gas powervented water heater. Adapted to exsisting copper piping with new 3/4†copper and propress fittings. Homeowner had an exsisting flood stop set up and wanted it transferred over to new water tank. Transferred over flood stop control. Checked fittings for leaks. Set water heater to hot setting. Found no pressure reducing valve in the house and found pressure at 80 psi. Let homeowner know this is a little high. Let him know if pressure becomes an issue, a pressure reducing valve would need to be installed and drywall would need to be cut. Water heater is working fine at time of install.
