Found water heater had 240 volts going to top element on water heater but no amp draw on meter. Pulled off wires off of elements and found bottom element reading 12 ohm which is god but top element was over 3000 ohms. Went out to distributer and picked up new element and replaced. Checked amp draw was 17.88 which is good and started to heat up water heater again. Put water heater at the hot setting on both elements. Also locked for leak dye on the a/c and did not se any at this time. A/c is maintaining 68 degrees in the house at this time and they don’t want to go any further with the a/c at this time. Water heater is back up and working fine at time of service.
