Performed Precision AC Tune Up on Amana Heat Pump System. Replaced High Efficiency 213 Air Filter, provided by Homeowner. Cleaned EZ Trap and Condensation Pump. Blew through Vinyl Discharge Tubing for the Pump. Filled Pump and tested operation. The Condensation Pump and Vinyl Tubing were very dirty. The Vinyl Tubing is not blocked/clogged at this time, however would recommend a regular treatment of vinegar or bleach into the Condensation Pump to help ensure the Tubing remains clear. The Tubing may need to be replaced if it continues to collect buildup inside. Inspected Electrical Components on Air Handler and Outdoor Unit. Measured Refrigerant Charge on system. System is operation to standards at this time. While onsite found the Air Scrubber was turning on and then shutting down and not operating. Tested Air Scrubber to ensure it was receiving a constant 24V signal. The Homeowner has replaced the UV Element several times. After leaving home, spoke with Technical Support about issue.
