Performed emergency sewer inspection @ Plainfield property. Homeowner reported multiple backups + slow drains. Camera showed major blockage ~25' from cleanout - tree roots + built-up waste material. Also found damaged pipe section ~40' out w/ partial collapse. Recorded entire inspection. Showed footage to property owner. Discussed options: 1) Hydro-jetting for immediate relief 2) CIPP liner for long-term solution. Set up follow-up appt for next week to perform selected repairs. Left system functional for temporary use.
Sewer camera inspection complete for customer in Plainfield. Homeowner called with concerns about gurgling sounds in pipes and slow drainage in multiple fixtures. Got our camera down the cleanout and started seeing issues right away! Main line is 6" clay pipe that's about 50 years old based on house age. Found major root intrusion at 12' and 27' from access point - roots had created a nasty clog that was blocking about 60% of the pipe. Also spotted two cracked sections where groundwater was infiltrating the line. Pipe has several areas with improper slope causing waste to pool rather than flow smoothly. Tracked the line all the way to city connection (73' total length) and documented all issues with timestamp video recording. Showed homeowner the live feed during inspection so they could see exactly what we found. They were actually relieved to finally understand what's been causing their problems! Recommended our trenchless lining solution to solve all issues without excavating their
I tackled a complex sewer line problem today involving multiple deteriorated sections. After examining the line, I discovered the cast iron pipe had corroded significantly more than expected, requiring replacement of an additional section. I used cured-in-place methods to repair those sections. The sewer line repair also involved replacing two cleanouts for better access in future maintenance. After completing the repairs, I performed pressure testing to verify the integrity of all new connections.
Televised air ducts from master bedroom to check area near tee in master bath where we discovered water. Then vacuumed line dry and rechecked line to find water started filling line again.
Applied second application of duct armor to all underground ductwork and furnace box.
Cleaned and televised all underground ductwork. Applied hydraulic cement to register vents and furnace box. Applied first application of duct armor to all underground ductwork and furnace box.
Applied a second coat of Duct Armor to all underground ductwork and the furnace box. Cleaned and prepared the duct surfaces for optimal adhesion. Used specialized spray equipment to evenly apply the protective coating, ensuring full coverage and sealing of all seams and joints. Inspected the application for consistency and thoroughness. The ductwork and furnace box are now reinforced, providing enhanced durability and improved air quality.
Cleaned and televised all underground ductwork. Repaired register boots and furnace box with hydraulic cement. Applied first application of duct armor to all underground ductwork.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized ducts. Suggest spray lining with Duct Armor duct lining material to seal off areas wher dirt and sand are entering.
Following a televised inspection of the ducts beneath the slab floor, I observed PVC ducts with indications of either mold growth or residue from smoking inside the residence. Numerous issues, including grading, gutters, and downspouts, require attention outside. Once these exterior issues are resolved, I recommend applying Duct Armor duct lining material to the ducts to address any internal damage and enhance their longevity.
I performed a precise spot repair on a sewer line, specifically targeting a location 55 feet downstream around a 45-degree elbow, where there was a notable separation in the pipe. This repair involved the strategic placement of a short section liner at the exact point of separation. The liner, designed to seamlessly bond and reinforce the damaged area, was cured in place to restore integrity to the pipeline, ensuring a durable and leak-free connection.
Televised sewer from overhead clean out and verified that we can get the patch liner installed. Will provide a proposal for installing the liner.
Televised ducts under slab floor. Ducts are galvanized and extremely rusted with stone coming in in a few areas. Ducts will need to be spin cast mortared then spray lined with Duct Armor duct lining material.
Conducted sewer camera inspection for a Plainfield, IL client, identifying pipe degradation. Employed advanced sewer lining techniques to reinforce damaged sections, preserving structural integrity without excavation. Customer is happy and sewer is looking great now.
Duct repair service call. Underground ducts were in rough shape from home settling. Installed liner and used video inspection to confirm damage was repaired.
