Existing pedestal sink is not plumbed into the sewer system properly. Existing 1 1/2” drain reduces down to 1 1/4” when it enters the concrete floor, cannot see where the drain exits after that point because there is no access to the crawl space. I have a feeling it just terminates in the concrete because I can pull the 1 1/4” pipe out of the concrete with ease. The only way to properly fix this issue is to abandon the existing 1 1/4” drain line and reroute the new drain to the 2” pvc vent located on the exterior wall of the home.
