Completed cooling tune up for 3.5 Ton AC system: Replaced 20x20x1 filter; filter was very dirty. Recommend replacing every 2-3 months. Dirty filters cause a number of mechanical problems. Inspected wiring and controls. Megaohm test on compressor motor winding reading caution. Indication that winding on compressor motors are not in great condition/beginning to fail. Dirty filters cause this issue. Inspected condition of both the indoor and the outdoor coil Checked condensate drain and trap. Monitored R410A refrigerant pressures and diagnostics using charging jacket. Pressures 110/300 15 SH 12 SC outdoor temperature 51°F; Good Refrigerant Charge was added in July of 2022. We checked for leaks using UV light. No indication of leaks at indoor coil. The inside of the cap for the port at indoor coil had some dye. We made sure this schrader core was tight and verified that it was not leaking using leak detection bubbles System operating well at this time,
