Arrived at customers home Monday, September 19, 2022. Inspected venting for water heater and found water heater was not properly connected to venting as well as venting itself was not properly installed into main vent stack. Customers water heater is 10 years old. Gave customer estimate for new water heater. With managers approval used hydraulic cement to properly secure venting into chimney. Screwed venting onto water heater and taped as well. Customer will reach out to company when ready to have new water heater installed. Customer paid with check for job sold August 3, 2022. Company had not yet collected payment for job.
