Excellent Service, Great Guy

This was the easiest appointment I have ever had. The technician came out and diagnosed the issue. (the outside unit was turned back on) after our maintenance appointment 2 days ago. I asked if there was a charge, he giggled and said no. He spent maybe 2 minutes here and left

Dissappointed

Daniel was very friendly when he came out. He was training a new hire. He showed up 2 hours after the call that stated he would be there in the next 30 minutes, Everything was completed, Before leaving I noted that the cover to furnace 2 was not put back, He did, After leaving we realized the air conditioner (1) was not working. We called on Friday to discuss (right after 5pm) It wasn't hot outside when the work was done. We were told if the home got worse, Someone would be sent out to check. We waited til Saturday to call as the house was getting warm. The person who took our call was rude and very unprofessional. She told us to turn off the system in case it was frozen, we told her we don't know if it is frozen, we just know that it worked find Thursday morning, and hasn't worked since our appointment. She set us up for a Monday appointment, we told her that wasn't going to work. We were told we would have to pay for a off hours appointment to get someone to check on our air conditioner. I told her I was ok paying as long as it wasn't an error by the technician. A different technician came out, very polite, went to the machine and noticed that it hadn't been turned on after the maintenance appointment. We had a/c that evening.

Found failed cfm count on system. I explained the issues that come from that and the problems it will cause with the system. I showed customer readings and airflow calculations. Customer understood the issue and they wanted to look into options. I asked for a follow up time and customer stated that they would like to wait a few weeks due to a lot of personal things going on right now. I recommend righting the airflow as soon as we can if we want to try and save the system as long as we can. Ac system will need just as much airflow without taking a toll. Correcting the airflow will benefit utilities and longevity of furnace and ac. Thank you for meeting with me today. I sent over my number so if I can help get airflow corrected sooner rather than later I’d like to help. If we replace furnace with airflow tuna we’d save money in the long run since there will most likely be price jumps before summer hits. Quoted $13,875 for 2 stage furnace with airflow

I spoke with the customer about the issues I was noticing with his water heater. I spoke the customer about the backdrafting and the damage his tank is going through. I put the best options for the customers home. I will be doing a follow up call on Tuesday. Thank you for choosing LBA.

Performed annual plumbing inspection. During inspection noticed that water heater burn chamber cover was removed and sitting on top of water heater. Asked customer if he had had any water heater, problems or service done recently. He said he’s only lived there a year, but has not had any issues with the water heater. Inspected plumbing fixtures throughout the home. Fixtures are working normally. did notice high levels of water hardness. Had supervisor come out to follow up on water quality.

Arrived to do performance maintenance. Set up for combustion analysis and static pressure tests. Found that the system is still operating with failing static pressure. This is causing the furnace to struggle to move air. Verified operation of all mechanical and electronic components in the furnace. Cleaned the flame sensor and tested its performance. Checked blower for cleanliness and to see if there is any play in the bearings. Found that the fan for both heating and cooling is heavily coated in dust debris. Checked systems heat exchanger to ensure proper venting of flue gas. Found that the exhaust vent is deteriorating and is venting carbon monoxide into the home. Found bacterial growth on the evaporator pan. Performed an electronic gas leak search. Got homeowners authorization to replace the vent piping and clean the fan as well as replacing the failing contractor that was diagnosed back in the fall. Arrived at property and was greeted by homeowner, he explained to me that he wanted an estimate to get his mainline lined out with a. Liner. I Cameron scoped the main line to about 75 feet where it tied into the city tap. I found a couple of small root intrusions and an offset. Provide customer options for Apoxsee liner as well as pipe burst. Customer said he’s not interested in having the pipe burst at all, and only wants a plastic sleeve liner which I am unaware even exists. Customer shook my hand, and I was on my way.
