Lauren, another great LBA tech, was courteous, thorough and efficient completing my a/c preventive maintenance tuneup.
Lauren arrived a little before I expected, but I was actually glad of that! She got to work right away and was easily managed through my basement maze and difficult outside area! As usual I needed a new filter which she installed and completed the job.

Performed an air conditioner inspection and safety inspection. Air conditioner starting to show its age compressor motor and capacitor starting to fall off a little. Fan motor operating within manufacture specs. Refrigerant levels seem good based off level and out and indoor temp. Drains are draining properly. Performed a safety inspection all high-voltage and low-voltage stable and secure.
Performed a leak inspection, no leaks found system helps pressures for40 min. After Informing customer that there is no major nor Minor Leaks found. Gave customer several options customer chose a Band-Aid option for refrigerant. Completely filled the mini split to manufacture specification on refrigerant. After performing repair I performed a test on the mini split, mini split is operating to manufacture specification.
Got replacement form ready for customer to get quote on system.
Performed maintenance inspection on a Lennox air conditioner. Checked all the electrical components and refrigerant for proper pressures and temperatures. Changed filter with customer provided filter. Washed outdoor condenser coil. Air conditioner is operating under manufacture specifications.
Upon arrival found package unit off completely. The system has a leg missing on the wiring supplying the unit from the breaker. Customer is aware that an electrician needs to come and get the supply power restored so unit can turn back on. Note*** no breakers were tripped or turned off in breaker panel.

Cause of problem was a failed voltage enhancer causing the compressor to not kick on. Customer chose a bronze which allowed me to replace the failed voltage enhancer and also replace the voltage distributor. Tested A/C for proper operation.
Arrived to find unit not cooling properly due to being low on Refrigerant. Also found the air movement system to be showing signs of old age. Furnace and air conditioner are 25 years old. Showed customer options. Customer chose the bandaid repair for the refrigerant. Brought system back up to factory specifications. Will put $500 to replacement of the systems. Unit is cooling at this time.
Upon arrival found that the system was low on refrigerant at this time. After speaking with the customer customer decided to go with bronze refrigerant repair. Recharged system back up to factory specifications and added internal leak sealers. System is cooling at this time.
On arrival found that the thermostat was no longer shutting off when satisfied. Customer chose the Band-Aid repair, After performing Band-Aid repair The air conditioner satisfied and turned off. Thermostat is now working properly
