Arrived to perform previously diagnosed repairs. Had the evaporator coil dropped off upon arrival. Heated up the existing brazes and removed the refrigerant lines from the evaporator. Replaced the coil with a new one. Dry fit the refrigerant lines. Ran nitrogen while brazing in the new refrigerant lines and filter drier. Pressure tested the system. Found a leak on the back side of one of the brazes. Fixed this leak and found another. Repaired the second leak. Pressure tested and soap and bubbles all brazed connections. Connected the vacuum pump and pulled the system into a vacuum. Brought the system down to spec and disconnected the vacuum pump and dropped the charge in the system. Ran the air conditioning system for a while to allow pressures to equalize. Calibrated the systems charge to factory specifications. Air conditioning system is functioning properly at this time.

Tested and revarified failed airflow readings. Currently static is at 1 when it should be .5 at max. I showed customer the readings and why and what this will cause. To get down to where system would be running like it should there needs to be a lot more airflow. The option talked about includes upgrading some trunk work and adding returns and supplies. Customer would like to take the weekend and so we scheduled a follow up for Monday at 1pm.

Arrived to do ac tune up today. I checked all the working and electrical components of the furnace. At this time I found that the static pressure was failing. Outside at the ac I checked all working and electrical components. While checking the charge, the readings were low, could be due to the rain and cool weather. Would like to schedule another time to come back and check. Full system is working well.

Upon arrival for maintenance ac. all components in range, static pressure was failing due to zoning issue. Discussed with manager and had supervisor out blower wheel was clean. Heat exchanger was good. One of the zones was closed which contributed. Washed off coil

Came out for a no cool upon arrival and inspection notice of the outside units red and white wires on the red wire itself. It was cut off so it wasn’t getting the proper voltage or signal for the unit to kick on word all that back up good unit came radon tester pressures seen that it was lol refrigerant charge the back up to what it was supposed to be at unit is up and running perfectly fine. I tested static on the unit just to see where we were at static was high we did notify the customer that we would like to have a field supervisor out. He did mention to us that today wouldn’t work and he’s like for us to give his son a call

Arrived to home for AC outage. First ran static pressure which was passing ran CFM counts which was also passing. Check from electrical components at outdoor unit. Capacitor was dead. We put a temporary new capacitor in so that would be able to run our tests the compressor kicked on and immediately kicked off. At this point we were considering the only issue was the failed capacitor. Spoke to homeowners about installing new capacitor. The system also appear to be very slightly under charge and offered a membership plan which includes 1 pound of refrigerant to calibrate the charge. We were set to charge the system with refrigerant however at this point the issue that we have been trying to diagnose for the past couple years showed itself. Upon start up the compressor would suck out refrigerant in the low pressure side of system and cause the low pressure limit to trip. With the help of Ruud tech support we were able to verify that it is the electronic metering orifice causing the issue

Checked all operations in the heating and cooling modes. Checked the static pressure and found it was passing. Checked all electrical and refrigerant components in the system. Today we found the ac was low on R-22, the condenser fan motor was drawing high amps, the blower wheel was extremely dirty, the heat exchanger had lots of heat stress. Customer is looking at replacement of system due to condition and age of the system.
