Disappointed

Expensive

$16000.00 for an air conditioner installed 7or8 years ago. The condesiner only had a limiter warranty. My previous air conditioner lasted over 25 years before I replaced it,

***Natural gas leak on 1” 1” 1” Tee near smoke detector*** Scheduled a plumber to make repair to gas line this coming Monday 9-23-19. I performed a safety and maintenance inspection on the furnace. I found the system to be operating within the manufacturers tolerances at this time. During my inspection I discovered a gas leak on the gas supply line. I also performed a tune up on the humidifier which included a media replacement. The customer informed me that the humidifier was leaking and I discovered that the plastic water supply line was old and brittle causing the leak. I presented repair options to the customer and they declined to make repairs at this time. Thank you

Checked the storage suite for no cool from the two Rtus. Found the fire shut down curcuits open on both units. Checked the duct detectors above the ceiling in the space and found both in standby and not in alarm. Reset both at the ceiling mounted test/reset stations. Found the curcuits still open after resetting. Also noted that the remote station leds are not working in any mode. Called Glenda with Indian Creek and advised her of the issues with the fire shut down system. She will check into the issue with the alarm company. Verified both units are working normal by bypassing the shut down for checkout. Left both disabled by the shut down after testing.

Vishal experienced an issue with his AC last night, he said he turned it off and back on and the issue stopped. Today we were unable to find a potential issue, the refrigerant levels are proper, the amp draws are within factory specifications. The filter is dirty but not causing any obvious issues. We replaced the filter and renewed the service agreement.

I replaced the hot and cold washer and dryer shut offs in the laundry room. The old ones were rusted and leaking. Tested by turning the water on to the house. Everything tested good.
