This morning (12/3/25) when I arrived the rooftop unit was not responding to a call for heat and the unit was shut down on a no flame error code. I diagnosed a failed gas valve in the rooftop unit that serves the yoga studio. The amp draw on the inducer and blower motor was checked along with the heat exchanger. The unit is completing it’s ignition cycle however when the gas valve receives voltage to open it doesn’t. I did confirm that there is nat. gas present at the unit. The gas was turned off at this unit for safety due to the bad gas valve. Verbal approval for the repair was given by Sarah. The part was picked up and brought on-site. The valve was replaced and the unit returned to heating. Post repair checks were successful and the unit is back in service. The yoga studio warmed up to 60deg before I left. Thank you, Jon Tech notes: Lennox KGA036S4DS2Y//5612L07413 Ind 0.21A (rated 0.5) Blower motor 2.45A (rated 3.9) Gas valve voltage 24.1, manifold pressure set, tem
Customer called in needing us to replace their basement toilet. Customer already has purchased their toilet. Gave couple of estimates, gave couple of options. First option is standard customer supplied toilet replacement and the second option is with flange repair. Informed customer that it’s a 50/50 chance that flange may need repaired. Customer is aware of may needing to go with second option if flange needs repaired. Removed and hauled away old toilet and flange has had previous repairs done, but flange repair already rusting out. Showed customer and customer wants to proceed with option 2. Went ahead no repaired flange and installed customer supplied toilet. Went ahead and provided new supply line, wax ring, and stool bolts. Checked for leaks and no leaks detected. Informed customer that with being customer supplied item, we are not responsible for toilet if leaks or is faulty. We will warranty labor for up to 1 year.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Cycled call for heat on the thermostat and the system started heating. Open the burner cabinet to the furnace and found lots of condensation cooling there. Let system run and monitor its operation. Furnace cut out about five minutes into its operation. System gave fault code pertaining to either the pressure switches or the inducer. By the sound of things there is condensation inside the actual inducer itself. Determined that the condensation drain is not draining properly. Evaluate the rest of the system to determine whether or not the system will continue to run once the condensation issue is resolved. Spoke with homeowner about systems condition. With homeowners approval performed drain clearing. Tested system operations to ensure system is going to continue to run throughout the Evening. Found that the system is close to overheating. Made a small adjustment to the fan setting to keep the system from operating close to its overheat limit. Syst

Customer called him about water heater leaking. We recently installed the water heater a few years ago. Upon arrival, discovered that customer has two water heaters. The one that we replace is a primary water here which is the one on the right side, the water heater that’s actively leaking is the secondary water heater, which is the water heater on the left and the oldest. Water heaters are currently plumbed in in a series which means that the primary water heater does all the heating and the secondary water heater becomes the storage tank. Traditionally when we see two water heaters next to each other we like to see them in a parallel system. In a parallel system, both water heaters are being used simultaneously and also if one of the water heater goes down, we can isolate that water heater and the house still has hot water. In a series system, if the secondary water heater goes down to the point where it’s not able to ignite, house will one get luke warm at best and will take a long
Customer called in needing water heater looked at. Current water starting to leak from the bottom. Verified that water heater tank is starting to leak. Water heater will need to be replaced. Checked water pressure and water pressure at 90psi. Per code water pressure should not exceed 80psi since all plumbing fixtures and appliances are only rated to handle less then 80psi. Gave customer customer several estimates and customer wants to think over which route they want to go with.
Homeowner got system running before dispatching.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found that the burners would not ignite all the way across the burner assembly. Removes burner assembly and cleaned the gas spuds as well as the burners themselves. Turned the system back on and allowed to run in high stage heat. Calibrated the gas valve to ensure the system is heating properly. Adjusted the system and tested operations in low state heat. System is functioning properly at this time. Went outside and found that the termination is questionable. Relayed my concerns and my questions to the office and they agree that the termination should be replaced. Coordinating with the office to set a time and date to perform the necessary repairs.
Performed annual plumbing inspection for customer. Noticed Lav drain draining very slo and disposal making loud noises but still operating. Customer used free drain cleaning and cleaned pop up assembly for customer. Gave options for disposal replacements.
