Furnace is one year old, customer is calling polestar to check on his warranty and will return call next week
Completed furnace maintenance and inspection. I checked all components and amp draws. I tested temp splits and airflow. Air pressure on system is very concerning since furnace overheated when I had system running. I showed customer readings and brought out field supervisor. They will handle situation from here. Showed customer ac coil and explained easiest way to clean that.
Arrived for furnace maintenance today. System is 1 year old. Did static pressure test, ran combustion analysis. Static is passing and system is burning fuel properly. Carbon monoxide reading was zero. All electrical components are running properly. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Full system 80% furnace, 60k btu attic system with 14 seer ac coil , going in October 9th
Customer called us out for reduced water pressure coming out of the kitchen faucet. Keely mentioned that the water drops even further when the other faucets on at the same time. Water quality is not perfect. Found corrosion on the water faucets, shut offs and water heater. Chlorine is extremely high. Water pressure spikes at 120 when anything is first turned on then drops to 52 with multiple sources running. Water heater is 20 years old and needs to be replaced. Offered a free water heater and PRV with the purchase of any water quality solutions. Thank you for choosing LBA.
Went for a service call today. Customer explained that the downstairs unit wasn’t heating and that upstairs unit wasn’t cooling. When starting with the downstairs unit, I noticed I was getting a code that said “pressure switch failed open.” After pulling the tube off between the pressure switch and the inducer motor, I noticed there was rust and gunk in the port from the inducer motor. After cleaning that out the system was up and running. After taking a look at the exhaust flu, I noticed that it was rusted and cracked in a few spots, so I replaced it. Moving to the upstairs unit, customer explained that the ac was short cycling. When taking a look at the ac outside, the coil was very dirty. After washing it, the unit was running great and the upstairs was cooling. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
Went for a service call today. Customer mentioned the ac breaker kept tripping immediately. After performing a diagnosis on the unit, I test the windings in the compressor to ohms. The compressor is grounded. Thank you for choosing LBA services!
