Who? When? What?

I was the point of contact for the service call. I was not notified of the arrival day or time of the technician. I showed up- he was there and had begun working- we talked briefly about the units and I proceeded inside he returned to the roof. He didn’t find me afterwards to share the report, he didn’t tell me what he performed during his inspection and service. I don’t receive a write up or invoice. I have no idea what he did today….i cannot give stars on the below because I was not given these things.

Really sad

I really trusted this company but not anymore. I paid a lot of money ($1600) to clean my drum of my furnace and my ducked work. They erroneously unplugged a wire that then later caused my ac to not work. Then I had to pay them $866 to fix it. I feel angry and lied to.

Problem not solved

Had to call another company to resolve a simple kitchen drain clog. Total waste of my $89 and time off of work. Very annoyed and will not use LBA again.

Arrived for ac tuneup today. There are three systems in the house. The main floor system was working properly. The basement system was working properly but could not check charge due to locking caps. The upstairs system was low on refrigerant. Advised to do a leak search. Customer requested for a call back to schedule that. All units are are running.

Arrived to remedy an inoperable furnace. Upon inspection of the system found that the furnace was giving a fault code for the model if plug. Code states that the plug is either missing or lose. Found that the wire harness was secured but it was pressed tightly against the model ID plug. Cut the zip tie holding it in place and let the harness hang below the control board. This took tension off the model ID plug and allowed the system to operate as normal. Determined that the minor vibrations caused by the furnace fan worked the wire harness into a position that would cause the furnace control board to lose connection to the furnace ID plug. Tested systems static pressure and found that the system is operating more than double the systems rated maximum static pressure. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. Homeowner will be available Friday the 3rd to have the field supervisor finish that diagnosis.

Arrived at the customers home to perform an AC maintenance. Upon arrival I put the system into cooling mode and began by checking static pressure. I found static pressure to be failing at this time. I replaced the furnace filter and verified all dampers were fully open and static passed. I gathered CFM counts for the system. I got a temperature split between return and supply air which was 19 degrees. I checked all electrical components which were within manufactures specifications. I examined the blower wheel and found it to be extremely dirty. I moved to the outdoor unit and checked all electrical and refrigerant levels which were within manufactures specifications. I found the outdoor coil to be extremely dirty. I brought issues and options to fix to the customer and he declined repairs today. I washed off the outdoor coil of all film and debris. Customer renewed his membership today as well. System was running when I left.

Checked all operations in the cooling mode and inspected the furnace filter. Checked the static pressure and found it was passing at this time. Checked all electrical refrigerant components in the system. The only thing we found today was the outdoor unit was getting dirty.Upon customer approval we preformed a extensive coil cleaning to get the unit back to a factory cleanliness. System is operating properly at this time.

I did not apply labor, don’t know what we want to do with. The call was unfinished. My boots on the ground time today is 40mins Today I arrived and accessed the roof and located the Lennox unit. Before I opened the evaporator compartment I checked the drain line for an oil slick, removed the shrader caps and leak searched around them. There was no oil slick at the drain and no refrigerant was detected leaking from the service valves. I removed the pvc drain and leak checked at the evaporator pan outlet. There was also no refrigerant detected there. The unit was reassembled and the unit started an A/C cycle that was prompted by the thermostat and there was some ice on the evap coil from a recent cycle as well. The temperature today is 56degf. I applied my refrigerant probes and started drying the condenser. At that point it returned to raining and a storm came in with lightning.

Upon arrival the heat was not working on one side of the home. She showed me the thermostat for that unit and I found the thermostat saying “LO” but below that it said “Change and had an empty battery rectangle on the stat” which indicated the batteries had gone bad. I replaced the batteries in that thermostat and then it came right on and was working properly. I went ahead and changed the batteries out in her other thermostat as well just so she had both installed at the same time so she will be able to change them together in the future. Both systems are up and running properly now. She paid for the trip fee of $59 by check. Thank you so much for being a Perfect Service Family Member with LBA!

Upon arrival the customer showed me where the water was leaking downstairs under the furnace. After inspection I found water leaking in through the wall where the swimming pool pvc pipes come inside. She immediately called the pool guys to come over since they were out here 2 days ago setting the pool up for this summer. When they arrived they looked around and came outside to the AC area with me. I found the AC is leaning way back because of the heavy rain lately. The AC needs to be leveled back out with rocks under it. The pool guys told her she needs to have a French drain put in on that side of the house to ensure this doesn’t continue to happen. The water is draining straight to the drain in the furnace room so it should not flood the basement or anything like that. I spoke to Eli and explained I couldn’t locate a leak coming from the furnace. He told me if it’s leaking through the walls then it could also be leaking from the ground under he furnace. I told the homeowner I would g

Arrived to remedy a system that seems to not be cooling properly. Checked over settings on the zoning control board and found that the system was set for a 40 degree discharge air temperature limit. This would shut down the system anytime the discharge air temperature dropped below 40 degrees. Adjusted this setting as low as it can go to help ensure the system can continue to operate for a longer cooling cycle. Continued assessing the system and found that the insulation for the sensing bulb for the txv had come undone and wouldn’t allow the txv to adjust the flow of refrigerant according to the load in the house properly. Insulated the metering orifice to ensure correct operation of the system. Found that the vent pipe for combustion air was not properly sealed to the protrusion through the wall. Made the correct adjustments to allow the system to draw combustion air from outside only. Tested system operations to ensure the zones are opening and closing accordingly. Air conditioning s

4/25/24 Sent out today to Hemants in regards to a leaking outdoor hydrant. Upon arrival I was greeted by Hemant who I went over the purpose of today’s visit with and answered any immediate questions they had to help set expectations. Other than the hydrant Hemant mentioned a low flowing master shower head. Hemant allowed me to run vital test today to ensure everything in the house is in working order.
