Robby was very professional-he listened to our concerns and found a solution. Excellent-
Tried to find our leak. Was very through, answered our questions, was polite and gave us suggestions and relieved our fears of what it might have been. leak was in the toilets. Fixed and we would call you again if we needed plumbing help.
Eli was shadowing Patrick while he inspected our AC unit because it was his first day. He was respectful of Patrick and myself and was knowledgable of his craft.
Patrick was knowledgable and explained the needed repair/ maintenance on our AC. He was very professional. He’s also a really nice person.
Ten provided knowledgable service but was unable to resolve the problem. She reassured us another technician will be coming tomorrow. We appreciate getting our needs addressed the same we called.
Jamal was a great salesman with knowledge, friendliness, and humor along with transparency and authenticity that we appreciate when deciding on big purchases. Dave was excellent and thorough with installing and took the time to explain everything before and after while navigating through any obstacles with a true understanding of HVAC and plumbing and making us feel comfortable with leaving our home in his capable hands. I worked the night before so I slept on the couch while he worked and felt at ease with him working the day away. I’m not sure of the name of the man who installed the humidifier but he was friendly as well and I faintly recall waking up to him asking my permission to install. I absolutely recommend this company and am already enjoying the benefits of our water system and water heater. Thank you guys!
I don’t know the technician’s name but he is not allowed in my house again. He met with my wife to diagnose our water pressure problem which he referred to as water hammer. He had two broken water pressure meters so couldn’t even tell what our pressure was but told my wife it would cost $850. My wife declined so he said she had to pay a fee for his diagnosis. She refused once again and he said she had to pay him. She refused so he said she had to call his supervisor. She did so in front of him and the supervisor said she did not have to pay anything. My wife was unimpressed. I called LBA because of the radio ads that stated everybody there is a perfectionist. Who comes to diagnose a water pressure problem and has no way to check the pressure. The crappy part is now I get to listen to my water hammer all Thanksgiving!
Robert was knowledgeable, courteous and took the time to answer my questions using jargon I could understand. Very appreciative of this.
Arrived to perform repairs that were previously diagnosed. Replaced the failed relay and started system up to test operation. Found that the outside unit had tripped the breaker within the first 5 minutes of operation. Performed diagnostic and determined there is a restriction in the refrigerant system. Started trying to prove this and reached out to tech support to ensure the proper diagnosis is reached. After testing for restrictions tried removing some refrigerant from the system. Found that the system was very receptive to removing refrigerant. Removed refrigerant until the system was calibrated to factory specifications. Measured power consumption and temperature split to ensure the system is operating as designed. Found that the condensation drain line was leaking while calibrating refrigerant. Completed the repair on the condensation drain line. Air conditioning system is operating properly at this time.
No airflow looked at today. Customer not interested in looking further into what’s going on
Completed AC tune up for customer on two systems. Both systems tested within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time. Systems operating normally upon departure.
Plumbing service. Went out to a home for a plumbing inspection. All pipes, fixtures, and water supply lines were inspected for signs of leaks or damage. Also checked the functionality of the water heater, faucets, and drains to ensure everything is working efficiently.
Today I completed your annual cooling mode and tested operations, found that capacitor failed and recommended installing new capacitor and hard start kit and customer agreed to have work done at this time. Found the 10 days or had failed and was leaking in the furnace and replaced That with customers approval as well. Everything else was operating as it should at this time. Thanks for having me out today, Eli.
Upon arrival I began the AC tune up. First, I did a static pressure test and it was passing at .52 out of a max of 1.0. Next, I checked the running amps on the blower motor which was within specs. The blower wheel looked clean at this time. Next I checked the temperature split in the house and it was right at 25 degrees which is within specs. I then checked th outdoor condensing unit and it is running properly at this time. The running amps on the compressor and fan motor were both within specs. I also checked the dual run capacitor which is a 30/5mfd and it was reading within specs on both sides. This system is running properly at this time. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us! Customers signed up for our new SmartAC Family Club Membership but decided o hold off on having the sensors installed. Advised if they change their mind and want the sensors to just call and let us know. Have a great rest of your week!
Performed home inspection; customer did not want to speak with supervisor; repaired sump pump beep by adjusting float
During this visit I was asked to look at the unit that serves the W. Side of the business. I found the air handler above the ceiling in the kitchen area. The condenser was located on the roof. The condenser was packed with cottonwood and the indoor air handler was lacking a filter. In addition to this the air filter cover was not in place. I searched for water and due to the traffic in the coffee shop and there being only one bathroom for water. I cleaned the coil with a condenser coil brush. The system was checked for proper function after the coil was cleaned and a new filter was installed. The unit was functioning properly and the compressor as well as the outdoor fan amp draws were in range. The contactor had severe wear and the capacitor was reading slightly under the manufacturer’s specs. A new contactor and a new capacitor were sourced for this equipment and installed. The system is cooling with a 22 deg temperature split 22 (77-55). At this time the unit is operati
Can’t build option on this job to see pricing.
Customer called stating system not keeping up and not satisfying thermostat. Upon inspection of system it was found that flue has major rust and pitting in it, large holes. Blower motor drawing high amps. Condenser fan motor pulling high amps, compressor pulling high amps, contactor has multiple burn marks, dual run capacitor is failed and refrigerant charge is low. Customer declined repair options at this time.
Talked with customer. They think job shouldn’t cost that much. Asked them what they think it should cost and so we are talking about the job from here
******&*(*(&&*(*&&&**&&***&&&**&&********** I applied labor just in case this is not a warranty repair. It was so hot on the roof and inside that I had to babysit until the indoor temp dropped and to confirm that it would not overheat again. *****((*((**(((**((((*((((*********(((*(((*(( 6/24/24 Upon arrival the unit was not functioning. I accessed the roof and discovered that the unit was locked out on a high pressure safety switch. The condenser coil was completely covered with cottonwood. I removed the hail guards and cleaned the condenser. The unit was restarted and monitored. The heat today on the roof was 110deg in the shade. The indoor temp was 89deg. I monitored the unit while it was operating. The condenser split was 25 @ 133deg after cleaning the coil. The indoor temp split was in range at 22 (88-65). The hail guards were replaced I opened the compressor compartment to check line temperatures and within a minute the unit shut down on high pressure due to the ai
Talked with customer about static and airflow. We a.so talked about Aeroseal. Left customer number so they could contact me at any time. If I don’t here back I will follow up Wednesday at 9am.
Upon arrival I began the AC tuneup. First, I did a static pressure test on the system. It is rated for a max of a .5 rating and when testing it showed the total to be at .84 which is failing. I lowered the blower speed down by one tap to the correct CFM needed for this 3 ton system. I checked the running amps on the blower motor and it was within specs and the blower wheel looked pretty clean to me.(Keep changing those filters regularly, great work changing it often!) The outdoor unit. First, I cleaned all the cottonwood off the outdoor unit and then checked the refrigerant pressures. The running amps on the fan and compressor motors were within specs and the dual run capacitor outside was reading good on both sides. The capacitor on the blower motor downstairs was reading failing, low at 82%. The system is cooling properly at this time. I did find the TXV bulb was not insulated properly. I fixed that and it’s insulated properly now. The temperature split for the house is at 18 degrees
Arrived to customer’s for an AC Check, during the process while testing static pressure on .8 maximum system we notice static pressure failed the first time. Next step was to open all vents were mostly close in the down stairs area and changing the filter which bettered the static pressure to .6. Customer stood with me during the inspection as I demonstrated from start to finish. At the end of the appointment came to conclusion there no major issues and all components and refrigerant levels met to factory specs. Mr. Terry was a nice individual who kept me entertained laughing during inspection. Also wants to tell Eli he says Hi. God Bless this couple and their family.
