Cesar showed up on time and was very professional for our plumbing maintenance. Overall, I think he did a great job - answered all my questions. The next day though, we had cold showers in the morning. Somehow, the pilot light on water heater did not get turned back on after appointment.
Patrick did a great job. Very professional, explained everything in a way that I could understand. Great representative for your company!
Guys came out and did a thorough job and took time to answer all my questions.
I was solicited at 3:00pm on a Sunday for a $47 furnace tune up. That’s way less than their usual tune up rate so I scheduled them. They had an opening the next day (Monday) so I booked an afternoon spot. They called Monday morning and asked to come early so they were obviously without much business. The technician came upstairs 20 minutes after arriving to let us know that our system was no longer functional after he ran a “test” at a high output rating. The repair is $0 for parts but $360 for approimately 40 minutes of labor. Needless to say we feel completely set up for an expensive repair for something that was working just fine. It was either pay for the repair or be left with a non-functioning furnace in February. The hourly rate for this repair is more like a high profile attorney so needless to say they won’t get another cent from us. The supervisor spoke to me like I should be thanking them for this not happening as an emergency service call and likely without heat for 2-3 days. BTW we have been long time customers and even purchased this HVAC and furnace from them 5 years ago.
Very prompt service, kept me updated on arrival time, very polite, explained options well.
Arrived for two system furnace maintenance. First system: static was passing. Cfm was low on return side. Inducer was good. Cleaned flame sensor. Blower wheel clean. Heat exchanger had water damage. Humidifier had accidentally been left on all year. Second system: Staic was failing. Checked vents and dampers, filter was clean. Static still failed. Called out supervisor. Inducer and hot surface igniter looked good. Cleaned flame sensor. Blower wheel clean. Heat exchanger looked good.
Completed a full cooling maintenance on two Trane RTU’s and one Ruud split system. Filters were changed, took amp draws and temperatures, and cleaned everything out. Overall, all units seemed to be running well, and there were no issues found at this time.
Indoor Air Quality Enhancement: To address a client's concern about indoor air quality, I recommended and installed an advanced UV air purification system. This cutting-edge system strategically eliminates airborne contaminants and pathogens, significantly improving indoor air quality for a cleaner and healthier home.
Performed annual plumbing inspection. During plumbing inspection noticed that the toilet tank for main floor bathroom was in very poor condition. Shut off valve, supply line, and fill valve in good shape. But overflow assembly and all tank connections were in very poor condition. One in particular could leak in the near future. Upstairs hallway bathroom has a faulty, tub spout. Presented different options to customer. Customer would like time to consider these options.
Found very high failed static pressure in the system. System was running loudly trying to get more airflow. I talked with customer and presented options. Customer declined all options and financing options.
Customer had high static which we have a super out looking into now. Also during maintenance I found that the blower wheel needs cleaning. The outdoor capacitor is reading 9.4 out of 10 I suggested replacement. Also gave customer a offer for the outdoor capacitor the contractor and a hard start kit. And some IAQ options
Homeowner has not made repairs. Will call us for comprehensive visit when ready.
Checked all operations in heating mode and inspected the furnace filter. Checked static pressure and found that it wasnt passing. The customer has all vents open and no dampers and I changed the filter out. Did a retest and fount that it was still failing February 20th at 9am we will have a field supervisor to come out. Checked all electrical components and preformed an combustion analysis. I checked the heat exchanger it had no rust spots and no cracks in it. The blower wheel was dirty but the customer wanted to hold off on getting that cleaned at this time. All electrical components were operating properly and the furnace fuel was burning properly as well.
Upon arrival checked all components in the heating mode. Checked static static was high. Checked all other electrical components everything was good blower wheel was recently clean. Informed customer that we were going to have a supervisor out to take a look at static. Customer decided to get both of his humidifier tuned up as well.
Paul toilet and replace wax ring and reset toilet Repair damaged toilet flange Arrived. Customer informed us that the toilet was leaking down from the upstairs down to the ceiling. Inspected upstairs toilet and determined that the flange was lower than it’s supposed to be. Suggested that we could double stack rings to make it fit correctly. Also recommended raising the flange has a better repair. Customer elected to have the flange Raised. Took off toilets installed flange raiser. Performed water quality tests as well.
Arrived at property and was greeted by homeowner, Sam had sold a pool and reset as well as a flange repair. Went over water quality and pressure with customer. Customer has a in-home water conditioner and water filter that we installed for them. Chlorine levels were at zero but dissolved solids and hardness levels were a bit high hardness testing at Tim greens TDS testing at 3:35 ppm. Customer not currently interested in softener options. Proceeded to help same with pulling reset in flange repair.
Upon arrival I checked in with the manager and she mentioned that this call was called in by someone else. I spoke with that person and he said that the blower motor was not coming on. I accessed the roof and checked the only two Carrier units on the roof. Both units (#1 and #2) were cycling on the thermostat as well when jumped out today for diagnostics. Unit#2 and unit#2 had their heating functions checked. The economizers have been previously disabled however I was able to confirm that the make-up air dampers were set near the 5% mark. The temp rise through the units is in range for this make and model of equipment. The air filters are in okay condition. The indoor air temp was checked in the middle of the conditioned space as well as in each corner. The thermostats are satisfied and cycling properly. At this time both rooftop units are operating within the manufacturer’s specifications at this time. Thank you, Jon Tech notes: unit#1 (North unit) m/n 48TCED24ABA5AoAoAo, s
