Very good service

The technician was friendly, introduced himself, respectful & knowledgeable. He answered all questions, showed my husband that he found that the humidifier was not snapped back into the housing all the way which was the reason for the leaking of water from the unit & it not working properly.

Fantastic fast, friendly service on Christmas Eve, but very high price compared to the competition.

There was a tech at our door less than 2 hours after we contacted the company on Christmas Eve regarding our hot water heater going out with 12 people staying at our home. He was friendly, knowledgable and fast. However, the pricing was much higher than other companies.

Upon arrival found that the system had a dirty filter, customer said she had a filter. She changed out the filter. System has been off for a while.drains were draining properly. At this time did several test and drained every time.

Upon arrival the customers hallway bathroom toilet, sink, and shower was clogged. Whenever there was water being ran in that bathroom water would leak out from the base of the toilet. I had to pull the toilet and cable the line a couple of times while running water in the shower. The clog was about 10 feet out. I put everything back together and flushed a number of times. The tank was lose so I tighten the tank bolts. Everything tested good.

Upon arrival the customer wanted to replace the hydrant in the font of the house with a frost free hydrant and a 3/4 ball valve to insulate it from the main line. Also the hydrant on the right side of the house the customer didn’t want his water softener connected to the hydrant. I had to cut out a section of the water softener line that supplies the hydrant and cap it. Then I connected the main water line to the hydrant. I tested both repairs by running water and everything tested good. Told customer about the P3 agreement and customer declined at this time.

Arrived to find the thermostat satisfied, it was set at 70 and reading 70° even though the indoor temperature was 73. The thermostat also had a couple cracks in the display so I changed out the thermostat. The humidity was in the high 60s 67-68%, this is abnormally ant uncomfortably high. I did. A quick check of all the plumbing and couldn’t find any leaks. I also was unable to find any leaks coming from the roof. While the AC is running in stage two the supply and return air have a perfect 20 degree split. The condensation drain line is running a heavy stream. As the system runs the humidors should be removed from the building. They have stated that the have been at this location for several years and never had high humidity issues before. If the humidity remains a problem the next step would be to get a dehumidifier or to determine where the humidity is coming from. I double check to make sure that the economizer damper’s are closed.

Checked all operations in the cooling mode. Installed customer supplied thermostat and rewired all control wiring for the unit. Tested both heating and cooling modes. Checked all operations outdoors. Found the outdoor unit to be un level at this time. After speaking with the customer customer decided to re-level the outdoor unit with vibration reduction pads. As well as I completed an extensive coil cleaning outside. System is now operating within factory specifications.

I performed whole house plumbing inspection. I checked natural gas system with leak detector.. No leaks detected. I’ll check the water pressure . Water pressure was 79 psi. Sump pump questionable. I gave estimate on some pump replacement. Customer asked for estimate to flush tankless water heater. I gave estimate to flush. I checked all plumbing fixtures throughout house everything looks to be in good working order.

I performed the full preventative maintenance today. I replaced all filters, washed all the coils, and checked capacitors, amp draws, temp splits, bearings, belts and contactors. I found no issues with any of the units, they are operating properly at this time.

Upon arrival thermostat was working properly, pulled a previous code for errors since last time I was out no new errors have came in. Thermostat is starting to be faulty and getting screen to blank out. After evaluating furnace, furnace didn’t cause thermostat to go blank. Took a look at the humidifier, humidifier solenoid is engaging but not allowing water Pass thru. Customer has replaced the solenoid in October due to Solenoid no longer operating I have scheduled an appointment with Pat to come out and give customers information about a water softener. Customer is going to wait till Thermostat starts doing this again and decide if they want to change stat

Upon arrival diagnostic furnace, found pressure switch is to no longer being calibrated. Causing the furnace to shut off. Safety switch had an electrical shortage and would engage sometimes. Gave customer an option for repair . Customer chose the Band-Aid option, performed repair and performed a furnace Test out. Furnace is now working to manufacture specification.

Checked the left side Carrier furnace for no operation and a second opinion on repairs or replacement. Found the gas valve failed, hot surface ignitor week and the burners rusty. Quoted the repairs to the customer. Also sent the info to our shop for replacing the furnace due to the unit being 22 years old. Left the unit disabled at the power supply.

I received a dispatch for ER service to my 8 am appointment from today 12-9-19 stating that the customer was very upset that their furnace system was disabled due to having a heat exchanger failure posing the risk of carbon monoxide entering the supply air and being distributed throughout the home. I called the customer and informed them that I was instructed to put back together the furnace but leave it off additionally requiring the customer to sign off that LBA accepts no liability if the furnace were to be used. The customer explained to me that they had already put back together most of what I had undone. I offered to come out as instructed or to assist the customer over the phone. The customer chose to stay on the phone with me and perform what was necessary to get the furnace system operable again. Afterwards, the customers furnace was again operating and they thanked me for my time and assured me that they would replace the equipment as they understood the safety risks connecte
