Doug arrived to finish previous work started by another technician. There were a few hurdles to overcome, but Doug was insightful, efficient and professional. His experience was on full display, and I appreciate his advice.

Upon arrival I preformed a whole home plumbing inspection for the customer today. Upon inspection I noticed that the water heater between the laundry room and the kitchen was 9 years old. I told the customer about it and left them a quote on a new 40 gallon gas water heater. I also quoted the customer on a tankless water heater flush in the downstairs basement. Whenever the customer runs water in the in the master bathroom or the hallway bathroom on the right side of the house you can hear a noise coming from the wall behind the front door. The hallway bathroom is located on the other side of the front door. I told the customer that a pipe or pex could be hitting up against some in the wall to make the noise. I informed him that I would have to cut into the wall to locate the noise and the customer said that he will try to locate it himself and would call back if he couldnâ€™t.
Checked all operations in the cooling mode. Found a fault in the voltage enhancement system for the 2011 Lennox air conditioner. Customer chose a gold repair allowing me to rebuild the outdoor electrical panel and restore the system to clean condition. Washed out additional unit and checked all operations. Equipment is now operating within factory specifications.

Upon arrival I found that the systems refrigeration system as well as the voltage enhancement system was not operating within factory specifications at this time. After speaking with the customer the customer wanted to go ahead and replace the system instead of repair.

Collected necessary information to provide one RTU replacement, one new mini split install, and installation of after market air scrubbers into two existing RTUs and one AHU.

Returned to customers residents to do a quality check on previous install. Re-ran gas piping from furnace to the existing gas Line, re-attached gas piping hangers to support gas line. Also re-routed water heater gas line so the new humidifier would be able to be serviced. Disconnected the flexible gas line from water heater and hard piped the water heater with black iron. Removed all the water in the water heater overflow pan before lighting water heater. Sealed around the roof jack where the pvc flue penetrates roof. Also added a piece of 2" pvc to the top of concentric kit so that the escaping flue gases from the furnace would not get sucked into the intake of the concentric kit.

Performed furnace tuneup on two systems, performed safety inspection on both systems. All safety switches are corresponding correctly, completely clean and re-calibrate to safety switches. System closer to garage has a crack on Secondary heat exchanger. Would have to take primary and secondary exchanger out and replace both. Second system downstairs heat exchanger is intact and performing to specification. Performed an electrical test, high voltage stable and secure at furnace 120 V communicating properly. Low-voltage wiring stable and secure at board and thermostat. Low voltage wiring communicating properly. Second furnace in basement is performing to manufacture specification. Gave customer options and recommendation for replacing heat exchanger. Customer has scheduled an appointment with Scott to go over options. Scott will be out tomorrow at 9 AM
Estimate for joco sump pump
Performed a full heating and humidifier inspection. Checked all wires and safety switches. Cleaned indoor units. Systems are operating within factory specifications at this time.
Installed complete tub/shower trim and checked for operations in downstairs hall bath.
