Rob did a great job! He was extremely personable, friendly, polite and very thorough. He showed me evidence of my plumbing issue and walked me through it all explaining very thoroughly step by step-which I appreciate since I prefer to be educated about services that are required. 6 new stops. 4 under upstairs under sink and two for toilets
Arrived to check out system and why it’s so much cooler downstairs. While checking the vents in the house I found all the vents in basement were open and 4 or 5 vents upstairs were closed. I opened up the vents. We then shut a few vent in basement to see if that will help. System is cooling properly.
Customer has an air purifier that uses ozone but (fair warning) she is very anxious and concerned about the ozone. Her daughter has asthma and the unit we installed is now discontinued. She had us unplug the current unit because she has been reading online about it and probably making herself more worried. But she wants to contact them first manufacturer and see what she can get them to do first before possibly having us install an FM1 which we offered to go half off on since we just installed it.
Went for an AC inspection today. Changed the filter in the system. Temperature split between the supply and return duct passed. Evaporator coil is clean and rust free. UV system is working, but the bulb is burned out. Outside system got washed. Refrigerant pressures met factory specifications. Compressor and fan motor amperage passed. Capacitor passed as well. Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Found that the system is operating with failing static pressure. Checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.
