Fantastic job.
Ramon is great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Rob did a great job! He was extremely personable, friendly, polite and very thorough. He showed me evidence of my plumbing issue and walked me through it all explaining very thoroughly step by step-which I appreciate since I prefer to be educated about services that are required. He is a great asset to have to be the “face” of the company to homeowners.
Service tech Cornelius was very thorough with attention to detail. He was professional from start to finish.
Cornelius went about and beyond for us! Appreciate that Nick came out to make sure everything went well for us too! Very pleased with our service!!
Ramon was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.
Ren was polite and got the job done in the time frame she stated when she arrived.
Scott McKinley is the reason my system has had so many issues and several thousand dollars of necessary repairs even though it is only 5 years old. He sold us the complete system in 2019 which was apparently too big for our houses ducting. Which lba only told us was the problem last year and which we needed to pay even more to mitigate Now we need the heat exchanger replaced on the furnace which seems all part of the initial screw up on hvac sizing At the time of working on enlarging the duct work, I let the technicians know I was unhappy with Scott’s lack of expertise or understanding and really didn’t want to interact with Scott again. Last week we had the yearly inspection for the AC and Ren identified pinholes and cracks in the furnace heat exchanger so we scheduled someone to come out for a follow up Then Scott shows up for the follow up. I can understand if he’s the closest person to me geographically but I had already noted I was unhappy with the experience and presumed it would not be Scott ever again. Onto the specifics of the follow up: Scott looked initially at the furnace and noted water damage to which I responded along the lines yes the water damage is because you installed a system that was too big for our ducting causing the static pressure issues to which Scott a very non committal answer. He continues his inspection and comes out with “so do you want me to quote you a new unit” It seems Scott hadn’t even reviewed Ren’s report. I informed him that he was there to confirm the cracked heat exchanger and get the warranty moving along for that part. He went back to my furnace blaming Ren for not including enough information (unlikely since ren showed me the photos she had taken as evidence of the pinholes) Scott comes back and says we can do a warranty on the heat exchanger but that the labor will be $3798. Way overpriced, but at this point I want to be done with Scott and done with LBA in general
Ramon was terrific! He was friendly, courteous and always had a smile on his face! And he asked me about my experience with LBA and was actually interested in my answer - or he’s a great actor, but I don’t think so. Thanks Ramon!
Proposed bid for duct cleaning and duct sealing.
Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Found that the blower wheel is heavily coated in dust debris. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.
warranty credit applied. Changed out ecm motor
Diagnoses: bad ECM motor. Needs to be replaced. Part warranty confirmed.
Customer called for no cool. Upon arrival I disconnected both furnace and air conditioner from power and let them set a few minutes and then energized. Furnace had a code stored for communication error, typical error code seen when there is a sudden loss of power and it comes back quickly. Unit operating normally at time of departure.
Did a gas leak detection search. Found small leak at the union of the water heater to the gas line. Replaced union. Did test over. No leaks. Thank you for choosing LBA!
Arrived for ac check today. Started at furnace and checked static pressure, it is failing. Motor amps are high, but still under max. Blower wheel is dirty. The indoor coil is coated with debris. There is a 22 degree temp split. I changed furnace filter. At the condensing unit all pressures and charge look good. All electrical components are running within manufacturing specs. I rinsed and cleaned coil. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Walked homeowners through how to set the schedule on the thermostat and on the app.
Replaced ECM fan for condenser and module. After the part was installed performed a A/C tuneup. I checked compressor, fan and capacitor. Also, during the inspection we checked pressures, static pressure, and temperature split. All components of the AC are all operating with manufacturer specs. Thank you for allowing us in your house to provide the perfect home service and for being a member of the perfect family service club from your LBA Service tech Calvin. If I provided a positive or five star experience. I’d appreciate you sharing your thoughts in a review.
Condenser ECM fan is faulty. Order part from distributor and will schedule a time to return to install part and complete an ac tune up.
Completed ac inspection. All components tested to manufacture specifications. No recommendations at this time.
