Upon arrival the customers back yard hydrant was leaking and you couldn’t turn it off. I had to cut out the old hydrant and install a new quarter turn hydrant in its place. I tested for leaks and everything tested good. Customer had a $50 off coupon from online.
Arrived at customers home Thursday, December 3. Customer having issues with drain for washer machine as well as toilet stopped up. Customer also brought to attention that there was a leak on the kitchen floor and they cannot find out what it was coming from. Look in kitchen cabinet and found that kitchen sink faucet was dripping constantly as well as both stops for kitchen faucet were heavily corroded. Gave customer estimate to auger toilet and install clean out on washer machine drain line to be able to snake drain. Customer declined estimate to snake washer machine drain but decided to go with new kitchen sink faucet. Installed new kitchen sink faucet for customer as well as replaced faucet supplies and emergency stops on hot and cold water lines. Augured toilet for customer included with kitchen faucet replacement. Turn water back onto home and tested kitchen faucet as well as made sure that no leaks appeared in kitchen cabinet. Upon arrival this was a warranty call per Doug. The water was rising in the water softener tank and wasn’t draining. I had to call tech support and go over the solutions on getting the water to drain out. Once I put everything back together I let the softener recharge and water was coming out the the hose to the floor drain. Everything tested good.
Upon arrival the fill tube from fill valve had become disconnected and should drip down tank when filling. No damage and no other leak could be found. Snipped end and reattached.
This was a warranty call. The strong back fernco I Installed had a small leak and I had to tighten the fernco down to get it to stop. After tightening it I began to run water in the shower above and test for leaks. Everything tested good.
Upon arrival the customer shower drain trap was leaking at the joint where the 90 copper meets the straight copper pipe. I had to cut out the trap and replaced it with a pvc trap up to the good copper. Tested by running gallons of water and everything tested good. Customer tub spout had a slow drip coming out of it and offered to show pricing on a changing out the old cartridge with a new moen cartridge. Customer declined at this time.
Replaced cracked cast iron floor drain lid with a new one. Secured hoses and drain lines to lid with zip ties.
Customer thought shower valve was leaking. We installed a tub shower deserter. I showed customer options for new moen cartridge install. They declined to replace cartridge at this time. No charge.
Estimate for water softener Install will be on Wednesday 1/8/20
Replaced tape with zip ties. Tested to make sure it won’t fall off. Line set insulation passed test. Unit is operating properly.
Arrived to replace line set insulation. Replaced line set insulation. Performed test to insure it won’t fall off. Line set is covered at this time.
Performed a full heating inspection. Checked all wires and safety switches. Performed an heat exchanger inspection. Heat exchanger passed test. Unit is operating within factory specifications at this time.
Completed annual cooling tune up, performed chemical coil clean, everything else tested as it should at this time, customer signed up for p3, thanks for having me out today, Eli
