Checked all operations in the cooling mode and inspected the furnace filter. Checked the static pressure and found it was failing at this time. Checked all electrical refrigerant components in the system. Today we found the contactor was getting burnt and the unit was very dirty. Customer is holding off on doing anything for now.

Upon arrival turned main water off and drained out water though outside hydrant in front yard, after draining cut out and removed old outside hydrant. Installed new Prier 10” frost free hydrant, installing new 1/2” ball valve in basement for winterization. Tested for leaks by turning main water back on and airing out lines through outside faucet and other fixtures. All good no leaks present at this time, and all fixtures are working properly. Due to hydrant being placed back into brick, did NOT feel safe using hammer drill, and due rain silicone and or caulk would wash away, instead using hydraulic cement and turning into putty consistency packed cement into hole and around back of hydrant flange and pushed the rest of way in. All good no leaks and or rain coming into home. Also hole for hydrant was smaller than expect so ended up having to sweat copper into Prier Hydrant.

Arrived. Customer explained that their mainline had been leaking. Flushed toilet and watched water leak from main line entering the wall. Grabbed 300 auger and ran line through inside clean out only making it about 15 feet before running into a very solid blockage. Pulled back mud and roots. Attempted to run line twice more but couldn’t pass blockage and kept pulling back mud. Put camera into inside cleanout and marked out blockage. 8 feet deep just past entrance stairs. Quoted spot repair at 5850 and sold repair. Getting repair scheduled for Thursday morning

Upon arrival checked all components in the heating mode. Tested static static was failing checked all other electrical components. Everything was good. It said the housing on the inducer motor was starting to leak. Also took a look at the blower wheel and heat Exchanger both looked okay. then switched over to the AC took readings and everything was looking perfectly fine. The ac did have a leak and was low, refrigerant identification. Told him that a supervisor was going to come out to take a look at static . I presented my options with the customer. He said he was going to contact the people that installed the unit just because it was recently installed and wanted to see if it’s still under warranty.
