Installed a new HVAC system and explained everything when it was done. Went over the new thermostat they installed. Ask if I had any questions about the new system. I just wanted to make sure I was comfortable with it all.

Travis has to wait to speak to his wife when she gets off of work. They will go over options together
Dispatched for furnace tune-up. The components that are tested during the tuneup are heat exchanger, flame sensor, igniter, blower wheel, inducer, temp split and combustion in the heat exchanger. When inspecting the heat exchanger it was showing signs of cracking in the rusted out areas of the seals. Also during the combustion analysis it was detecting air from the blower entering the chambers. This is indicated a crack that can potentially leak carbon monoxide into the living area. Also the blower is extremely dirty and would need a cleaning. Just having 1/8 of dust on the blower wheel fins increase the amp draw and reduce the amount of air across the heat exchanger. The system also need to have a gas shutoff and gas line repaired. Thank you for allowing us in your house to provide the perfect home service and for being a member of the perfect family service club from your LBA Lead Service tech Calvin. Replace the Lennox 20 ton package unit with gas heat for the Laboratory building. Price includes a 20 ton package unit with gas heat and economizer. Existing ductwork, curb, electrical disconnect, room thermostat and utilities will be reused.
9-10-25 Spoke to Will on site. We took a look at the boiler. He explained to me what happened and the two valves on the outlet side of the boiler that somehow got closed, which caused the relief valves to both pop open with the pump running not sure why they were closed. Currently, it’s 92° out. The system is shut off, pump are working . The pilot lights are out. I need to run the system, their maybe air in the piping, it’s way too hot to do that right now so I need to reschedule and do this during my other day and do the full tuneup on it.
