Customer called in needing hammer arrestors installed for laundry washer. Customer recently purchased a new washer and makes a very loud noise when water shuts off for washer. Customers laundry valves are currently seized up and won’t turn off the water. Went to check water pressure and water pressure is at 120psi. Expansion tank to water heater has also failed and full of water. Educated customer on high water pressure and what issues it can cause and also contributing to the water hammering issues for new washer. After going over options, customer decided to go ahead and get prv installed and expansion tank replaced. Shut off water to home and installed new PRV, lowered ball valve for easier use, and replaced expansion tank by water heater. Set prv and expansion tank to 75psi. If customer chooses to replace laundry box, we will provide hammer arrestors at no additional cost. Went over water quality as well with customer. If the water hammering is till effecting new washer, will retur
