Customer allied stating heat pump was not functioning properly. System is tripping out on high pressure due to reversing valve sticking. Turned over to field supervisor for further advisement.
Completed heating inspections of customers equipment. Customer has two separate systems in one air handler with heat pump and the other LP furnace with straight ac. Tested both systems and both were operating within manufacturer specifications. No recommendations at this time.
Installed full heat pump system and stat
Came out here for a furnace inspection. Upon arrival tested static static was good took Amps from inducer and the blower motor. Both are within manufacture specifications cleaned out customers flame sensor make sure the HSI was within ohms took a look at the blower wheel. I did notice that it was dirty, besides that everything else on the unit was looking good I did notify the customer on getting it clean. Customer did decide to hold off for now, but is it is made aware of what it looks like
Completed heating inspection for customer. System is an air handler with a heat pump and electric emergency heat. Components of system tested good, electric strips are all working properly, heat pump is functioning. Did see light burn marks on defrost board indicating it may not be operating properly in defrost explaining the service call customer had in January. Turned over to field supervisor to advise customer on repair options.
Reset alarm on customers air sterilizer unit. Screen has failed on unit but bulb is still functioning. Working on warranty process to replace unit.
Upon arrival I began installing the new SmartAC sensors for the main floor system. Got everything installed and downloaded the app to his phone and showed him how to log in to see how the system is working. After I got the first one installed he showed me to the 2nd system. This house has a total of 3 systems but Ideal Temp was only monitoring 2 of the systems. I called and spoke to Macella at the office and she explained how the new membership will work. He was under the impression that he wouldn’t have to pay to renew his membership’s because he paid a grand or more for Ideal Temp to maintenance his units. I told him to call on Monday and see if he’s just out that money or what can he done. I went ahead and installed the 2nd systems sensors. Job is Complete, I will have Macella follow up on Monday. Upon arrival I began the AC tune up. First, I checked the blower motor running amps which were reading within manufacturer specifications. The blower wheel itself has some dust build up but it’s not bad at all. The temperature split in the home is at 19 degrees which is within specs and right where we want it at. I then checked the outdoor unit and started by rinsing the cottonwood/debris off the condensing unit. The compressor and fan motor running amps were both within specs. The refrigerant charge looks good and is cooling the home properly at this time. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us! Have a great rest of the week! P.S. I did not have the correct filter size on my truck today which is 16x20x1 inch and it requires 2 of those filters at one time. We will be having a technician bring some filter over and put them in for you unless you aren’t home, they can leave them on the porch.
Came out here for an AC maintenance. Everything within the units checked out perfectly fine static pressure CFM’s refrigerant charge amps on the compressor. The fan capacitor was good contact it was looking good. I washed up both unit outside the mini split and the AC. I also washed off the filters for the actual mini split inside itself. Got that all cleaned out replace filter for you as well. Left the unit up and running. Thank you for choosing LBA
Customer declined any airflow but would like to get duct cleaning scheduled. Will get ahold of scheduling and call him back with available days. All vents are pulled at departure
