Upon arrival I began the tune up for the main floor unit. I found the static pressure was failing at double the manufacturers requested limits of .5. I checked the running amps on the blower motor and it was amping very high. The blower wheel has dust/dirt caked up on it which is making the wheel unbalanced and making the motor work harder. I don’t think it will make it through the summer. The delta t or temperature split was good at 21 degrees. I checked the running amps on the fan motor and the compressor and they both looked ok. I tested the dual run capacitor which is a 45/5mfd capacitor. It is still within its limits. The contactor is black and pitted so it really needs to be changed out but since the customers have a home warranty company they want to contact them and see what all they are going to cover. The refrigerant levels looks ok as well. System is just older and on its last leg. Field supervisor Lindsey came out to re-check my static numbers and take CFM counts on the duc
