Dispatched for a strange smell coming from the furnace/ducts. At arrival it was described as sewage or rotten egg smell. Did not find any gas leak or smell anything as described. Humidifier panel was in awful condition and could have been emitting the smell or the drain trap. Also noted that the blower has excessive amount of dust buildup indicating an extreme amount of dust in duct work. This could also cause smell to be present in the system. Recommended a duct cleaning and blower cleaning. Opted to change humidifier panel and sign up on membership.
