Arrived for no heat. Upon inspection I found a bird had got into the inducer motor. I removed the bird and system started up and is heating. Upon further inspection of the flue, which ties in to the chimney of the home, I found it to be deteriorated and the chimney unlined. In its current state, there is concern that adequate ventilation is in place to funnel CO out of the home. While no ambient CO was detected during the visit, I strongly urge you to seek guidance from a chimney professional to have chimney lined and the flue properly tied in. Thanks for choosing LBA.
