Customer called in needing kitchen sink looked at. Water leaking down to basement. Upon arrival, found that kitchen drain is backing up and water coming through abandoned plumbing. Recommended we separate abandoned plumbing from the current one. Gave customer options and customer opted to go ahead and get kitchen drain properly ran and augur kitchen drain. Went ahead and augured kitchen drain and verified line is open. Went ahead and cut out abs pipe and installed new pvc pipe. Capped old galvanized drain line. Checked for leaks and no leaks detected.
