The unit heater that was heating does have a responsive thermostat. The gas valve, ignitor, fan motor, fan motor bearings and supply voltage was checked. The ignition sequence failed to complete due to a bad inducer motor. The voltage to this motor was confirmed to be in proper range. I spoke with Jeremy about the condition of the flue pipe and was given approval to remove it to check for any obstruction with the motor’s wheel and bearings. No obstruction was discovered this motor will not return to service. I relayed my findings to Kristi after sourcing a factory replacement and an estimate for the repair was also created and emailed due to the part not being available in the Kansas City area.
