Completed full system inspection. I started by checking the furnace operation first. After performing the safety checks, the furnace showed that it is still running safely at this time. The inducer motor is starting to whine. This means that the bearings inside the inducer are starting to wear down. I noticed the system was running a little warmer so we checked the airflow static pressure on the system. The static pressure showed a reading of .92. The max static pressure rating should not be above .5. The hot surface igniter resistance is almost double the normal resistance. This means that the igniter is burning hotter than it normally would and could crack at any point. The heat exchanger is still seal tight as far as I could tell after three safety checks. The heat exchanger is charred from running pretty hot over the years. I switched over to checking out the AC/heat pump side of the system. The heat pump is low on refrigerant. Customer mentioned that they have had to have the ref
